huitzil-lecture

ALEA III and the New England Conservatory Music Theory Department cordially invite you to the lecture/performance "Epiphenomena of Flight: Interpretive strategies in the performance of Huitzil (2014) for cello by Trevor Baça".

Trevor will be joined by cellist Alan Toda-Ambaras, an NEC alum and Alea III collaborator, who will perform Huitzil and address its technical and interpretive challenges. Please join us in exploring this monumental work by a young composer of immense poetic vision and technical prowess.

This event is part of a lecture/performance series co-sponsored by the NEC Theory Department and Alea III.
