On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Charles Ives' birth, the series Music of Our Time includes 3 concerts featuring several landmark works by American composers, 14 lectures on concert music in the U.S., an art workshop, and an International Forum of 15 young composers and performers invited to compose and work on new works for the festival.
A 10-week music program for beginners up to moderately skilled individuals, including music classes, instrument lessons, chamber music, and 16 concerts-events presented around the island.
A week long program including daily instrument lessons, classes in music, arts, ancient Cycladic history and culture, and the environment. The camp is designed for students of the Greek diaspora (grades K-12), as well as those who live in Greece. The program welcomes children with special needs. Presented by Faculty of the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto, in association with the Naousa, Paros Public Schools and the ALEA III New Music Ensemble in residence at Boston University.
